What it's about
The Creative Communities Community and Participatory Arts Programme aims to meet the continuing professional development needs of people engaged in all areas of community and participatory arts; including artists, community development workers interested in using participatory arts, and development workers involved in planning participatory arts. The courses offer a learning experience that reflects the multi-agency environment in which you are working.
What you do

The learning experience will be focused upon discussion, critical debate and the development and application of a series of advanced work-related skills and competencies. The M.A. is designed to relate directly to your work and experience and to enable you to enhance your critical understanding of the broader policy context in which you are operating. You will also be asked to evaluate approaches to community and participatory arts and consider how they impact your creative and professional practice.
Where next
The M.A. is an internationally-recognised qualification which will significantly enhance your career prospects, whether you are relatively new to the areas of Community and Participatory Arts or you have many years of experience in the arts, voluntary, community or public sectors.
